Terms & Conditions – Membership, Events & Services
If you use this website you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms & conditions, which together with our Privacy & Cookie Policy, Disclosure Policy and Copyright & IP notes, govern the website owner’s relationship with you in relation to this website.
When you register for one or more of Fashion Angel’s events, services, or purchase one of our memberships, publications or e-books then you agree to the following terms & conditions:
Business Club Membership
The Fashion Angel Business Club is a business and networking club owned and managed by Fashion Angel. Membership is open to graduates, designers and entrepreneurs in the fashion, textile and jewellery industries. Membership is to the Fashion Angel Business Club. Membership for a term of one year recurring from the date of acceptance. The final decision in any matters relating to membership rests entirely with Fashion Angel.
Membership is for named individuals only and is not transferable without the express permission of Fashion Angel. Should a member be unable to attend any of the events or take up any element of the membership benefits provided, no refund in whole or part shall be made.
Membership at Silver & Gold level includes auto-enrolment to the Lawbite.com platform.
Business Club Membership Fees
Membership fees and benefits are outlined on the websites www.fashion-angel.co.uk and are subject to alteration without prior notification. Depending on the option chosen membership fees are payable with the initial application. However in the event of non-acceptance of application any membership fees taken will be refunded immediately (within 5 working days).
All membership fees paid are non-refundable unless application of Membership is rejected by Fashion Angel at the time of initial application or contained within the Terms and Conditions of The Fashion Angel Business Club.
UK VAT is payable for UK based customers, currently at 20%. Your purchase is subject to any applicable tax in your country, which will be charged, but is not controlled by us.
Payments – when you join if payig annually payment wil be taken immediately via chosen method. If paying monthly payment will automatically be taken by Paypal or Stripe on the next scheduled payment date. Annual Business Club members will be emailed 10 days prior to their renewal date.
Faulty products or downloads. If there is an issue with any downloads then get in touch with us asap in writing to info@fashion-angel.co.uk, ideally within 7 days of joining. We will endeavour to rectify any issues as soon as possible on an individual basis.
Non-payment of instalments or membership subscription: Some of our services can be paid for in instalments and our Business Club membership can be paid for on a monthly basis. If there is an issue with your payment then you will receive an urgent email message to settle your payment asap. We have the right to stop the service or membership immediately, and you are not eligible for any refunds.
Cancellation of Membership
In the event of a member wishing to cancel their membership during their membership term, notice needs to be given in writing to Fashion Angel. No fees are refundable.
In the unlikely event that Fashion Angel decides or is requested to terminate a member’s membership, no membership fees are refundable.
Business Club – Intellectual Property
Fashion Angel retains full copyright to the intellectual property contained in any articles, information, and self-implementation guides provided to members as part of Fashion Angel Business Club benefits or made available on www.fashion-angel.co.uk. Dissemination of this information to non paying members is not permitted under any circumstances. Copying, reuse, distribution, plagiarism or sale of the information outside of member’s personal business development usage is strictly prohibited and full legal redress including pressing for the maximum financial compensation available will be sought in every instance interests.
Cancellation of Events
Fashion Angel reserves the right to cancel an event at any time. In the event of an event being cancelled an alternative event date may be offered and no refund of any membership monies will be made. Members do not have to attend events in order to retain membership to the Fashion Angel Business Club.
Payment for events, services and mentoring
Fashion Angel reserves the right to charge an entry fee to events and for any mentoring or services that is over and above those included in the members benefit package in addition to the membership fee. Members may be entitled to discounted fees dependent on the level of membership. Notice shall be given of any such fees in advance of events and published on our website.
Change of Speaker
Fashion Angel reserves the right to change the speaker advertised at Fashion Angel Business Club or on the Events page whether through the website www.fashion-angel.co.uk or any other promotional material.
Termination
Fashion Angel reserves the right to expel any Member from The Fashion Angel Business Club as a whole or any Member or guest at any time during an event, and to refuse entry to an event. In this event no fees will be refunded. Fashion Angel reserves the right to terminate any membership of Fashion Angel Business Club at any time, if any Member breaches any of Fashion Angel Business Club Terms and Conditions or Terms of Use.
Liability
Fashion Angel cannot be held responsible for any accident, illness or injury (or allergic reaction) that occurs to any person whilst attending an event hosted by Fashion Angel Business Club.
Fashion Angel cannot be held liable for the loss of or damage to any person’s personal or business items during an event.
Associated Activities
The Fashion Angel Business Club encompasses associated activities including but not limited to the provision of newsletter both in digital form and posted on fashion-angel.co.uk and its associated social media pages. Articles and items provided by way of associated activities are provided for information purposes only. Fashion Angel do not accept any responsibility or liability for the use or misuse of the article or item content or views or opinions expressed.
Inclusion of an article or submission of any item within associated activities does not imply recommendation of that person or businesses products or services by Fashion Angel or any of its officers or employees unless expressly stated.
Every effort is made to ensure that the details provided within associated activities are correct and not misleading however Fashion Angel cannot be held responsible for any errors, omissions, conflict in information or actual service, or views and opinions provided by Members or visiting guests and associates. Fashion Angel does not accept any responsibility or liability for the use or misuse of any information posted on fashion-angel.co.uk or the views or opinions expressed within by contributors.

Fashion Angel cannot be held in anyway responsible for the security or safety of individuals should they decide to either personally conduct business with or arrange personal meetings with those they have met either online through our websites or at any event or meeting arranged by Fashion Angel. Users engage with each other solely at their own risk and Fashion Angel offer no guarantee as to the credibility, veracity or intentions of any individual within our network or membership and encourage members to act with standard caution and conduct the usual due diligence procedures in advance should they wish to engage with other members or users of their own volition for whatever purpose.
Fashion Angel reserves the right to amend Business Club Terms and Conditions at any time and without notice.
Privacy Policy
Privacy Statement We are committed to protecting your privacy. Authorised employees within the company on a need-to-know basis only use any information collected from individual contacts. We constantly review our systems and data to ensure the best possible service to our clients. There are specific offences for unauthorised actions against computer systems and data. We will investigate any such actions with a view to prosecuting and/or taking civil proceedings to recover damages against those responsible. We will not sell, share, or rent your personal information to any third party or use your e-mail address for unsolicited mail, with the exception if you have given informed consent to Lawbite.com auto-enrolment. Any emails sent by this Company will only be in connection with the provision of agreed services and products.
Any personal data relating to Business Club Members will only be used by Fashion Angel in accordance with the GDPR Act May 2018. Such personal data will be collected, processed and used by Fashion Angel or our agents or service providers for the purpose of registering Members’ application with The Fashion Angel Business Club and facilitating any transactions which Members may enter into with Fashion Angel. Fashion Angel may also make use of such data for administration purposes and future enhancement of services to meet Members’ needs.
If Members or other clients object to the use of their data in any of the ways mentioned here and/or they do not wish to be contacted by any of the methods referred to above then they should email info@fashion-angel.co.uk.
Members & clients have the right to ask Fashion Angel for a copy of the information Fashion Angel hold on them, for which Fashion Angel may charge a small administration fee.
Permissions – when you join or engage any of our services you give permission for us to add your details to our database system, and to contact you by email in relation to your purchase and to deliver the related content related to that purchase. We might also send you information about other products and services that we think you might be interested in. You can always change your email settings or unsubscribe from our emails at the bottom of any email you receive.
How your personal information is shared
We share your name and contact details with Lawbit Ltd trading as LawBite on the basis of your informed consent that we obtain from you at the point when we collect your personal information as part of your registration process. LawBite processes your personal data in accordance with its privacy policy found at Privacy Policy | LawBite | LawBite and may contact you to tell you about LawBite products and services from time to time. If you would like to unsubscribe from those, please contact LawBite directly using details found in its marketing materials or privacy policy.
Confidentiality Client records are regarded as confidential and therefore will not be divulged to any third party, other than our employees and if legally required to do so to the appropriate authorities. Clients have the right to request sight of, and copies of any and all client records we keep, on the proviso that we are given reasonable notice of such a request. Clients are requested to retain copies of any literature issued in relation to the provision of our services. Where appropriate, we shall issue client’s with appropriate written information, handouts or copies of records as part of an agreed contract, for the benefit of both parties. We will not sell, share, or rent your personal information to any third party or use your e-mail address for unsolicited mail. Any emails sent by this Company will only be in connection with the provision of agreed services and products.
