Fashion Angel and Bourgeois Boheme are delighted to invite you to The Pineapple Room* for a talk on
The Future of Textile Innovation in Fashion, as part of Fashion Revolution Week.

Known in fashion circles as the “fourth industrial revolution”, new developments across the physical, digital, and biological worlds are creating sustainable solutions for the fashion & textile industries.

Bourgeois Boheme has been at the forefront in creating dynamic footwear collections utilising ground-breaking material innovations including cork, pineapple fibre Piñatex, natural slate stone and seed-based material – all from food-free crops.

On the panel, we’ll be joined by Alicia Lai, Founder of Bourgeois Boheme, Dr Carmen Hijosa, inventor of Piñatex(TM) and Vivienne Austin, Fashion Consultant and Innovator.

Chaired by Fashion Angel founder Alison Lewy MBE, the panel will be discussing the recent textile innovations, and how these are likely to influence the future of fashion.

Agenda
6.30pm – Arrive & Drinks
7.00pm – Panel Discussion
7.30pm – Networking

This talk is a must for anyone interested in finding out about the latest technical innovations and how they can help brands create desirable products, whilst building a more sustainable business, that’s kinder to the planet.

The session was fantastic – I got so much out of it and feel a lot more certain about the route I need to take in getting my product manufactured. Thank you so much.
