Premium footwear brand Mulo, was founded by Tobias Cox in January 2013.
Tobias’s decision to leave the corporate world to set up Mulo , where he’d been a successful Management Consultant, was borne out of frustration at not being able to find good quality Espadrilles to wear and his research showed there was a gap in the market for a high quality British Espedrille brand.
Since launching the label, Mulo has been bought by premium UK and international stockists, including Mr Porter, Net a Porter, Matchesfashion.com, Selfridges & Nordstrum. In 2015 MULO also received the accolade of being selected by Walpole, the British luxury trade body, as a Brand of Tomorrow.
Regular mentoring from Fashion Angel helped the business develop a robust business strategy as well as giving guidance on sourcing, production, sales and finance as the business grows.
