The British Fashion Council has announced the nominations for the 2016 Fashion Awards, which now have a more international focus.
The British Fashion Council Chair, Dame Natalie Massenet revealed the nominees at a brunch at Los Angeles’ Soho House earlier this week.
The list includes many of the usual suspects such as Alexander McQueen, Burberry and Christopher Kane , up for Best British Brand, and good to see Han Chong’s Self Portrait up for British Emerging Talent. A new category, International Business Leader has also been added .
Around 1,500 key members of the fashion industry put forward their nominations for each category earlier this year.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony held at the Royal Albert Hall on Monday 5 December.
